Doobie Brothers: Long Train Runnin.


"Long Train Runnin'" was included on the band's 1973 album The Captain and Me and released as a single, becoming a top-ten hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number eight. This song became very famous for its intro with the guitar.

Dawn I still have my Audiophile Superdisc LP of this from the 70's. It's just been released on Audiophile LP again.
Really the first BIG Doobies hit, Yeah I know they did Listen to The Music and Jesus Just Alright, but this was the one that did it.

Someday I'll have to tell you about my" Dobbie Connection", and hanging out with Jeff Baxter in Vegas at CES. It' a long story.

I have never met the Doobies, but .. I have been to many of their concerts, when I lived in Calif.

I can not wait to read about your " Dobbie Connection". How Groovy is that!!
