Dawn, I've been a fan of Gordon for over 40 years. One of Gordon's" History Songs", along with the song he ends his concerts with The Canadian Railroad Trilogy. No one not even Gordon can follow that song it's his masterpiece and you could tell how he thought the concert went by how he sang it. When he was "On" it was an experience, many Canadians feel it should be the national anthem. My favorite version is on Gordon's second United Artists album 1967's The Way I Feel , I don't really care much for the remake on Gords Gold .

I always loved this song, but I haven't heard it in years...forgot all about it.
Thanks so much for posting, Dawn!
