Cream: Strange Brew.

On Eric Clapton's Crossroads boxed set, this song is placed next to "Lawdy Mama," the blues song it is based on.

Cream/Deep Purple: I'm So Glad.

"I'm So Glad" was recorded by Cream on their first album, Fresh Cream, then later put on their last studio album Goodbye as a live performance.

Deep Purple version:

"I'm So Glad" was also recorded by Deep Purple in 1968 for their debut album Shades of Deep Purple. The Skip James-song itself starts after a medley consisting of excerpts from the instrumental arrangement of Rimsky-Korsakov's classical Scheherezade. This medley named "Prelude: Happiness", stretches the song ove seven-minutes.

Cream: White Room and Tales Of Brave Ulysses.

"White Room" is a psychedelic rock song, written by bassist Jack Bruce and poet Pete Brown, who was a friend of Cream bass player Jack Bruce. Brown also wrote the words for "Sunshine Of Your Love" and "I Feel Free."

Rolling Stone magazine claims that "White Room" has "The exact same lines for guitar, bass and drums" as "Tales Of Brave Ulysses." If you listen to both songs, they are a little similar.

Eric Clapton used a Wah-Wah pedal on his guitar. He got the idea from Jimi Hendrix.

Cream: Sunshine of Your Love.

"Sunshine of Your Love" is a 1967 song by Cream. It is Cream's only gold-selling single in the United States. It features an amazing electric/bass guitar riff and and famous guitar solo from Eric Clapton. The song was written by Jack Bruce, Pete Brown and Clapton. Cream is the first group to introduce me to "blues rock" and I have been hooked ever since.
