"More Than a Feeling" is a song by the rock band Boston, released as the lead single from their self-titled debut album on Epic Records in September 1976, with "Smokin'" on the flip side. "More Than a Feeling" took writer Tom Scholz five years to complete. While in my twenties, several albums of the 70s rocked my world at the time: 'Rumours' by Fleetwood Mac, and Boston's 'Boston' album. Now, these albums continue to pull on my heartstrings.

This is one of those songs which brings back horrible memories for me. As I've told you before, my parents made a cross-country move just after my sophomore year of high school (June 1976). So, whenever I hear this song, it takes me back to those horribly painful, lonely months in a new high school.
Isn't it amazing how songs (and scents) can transport us back in time.
Wishing you a wonderful day,
Patti
